Walk from Harpa Concert Hall through central Reykjavik, stopping at four to six eateries for eight or more Icelandic dishes. Guides such as Stevie, Thor, Lenny, Mímir, and Dagur add food knowledge, humor, and local stories. Expect fish, lamb, hot dogs, fermented shark, and rye bread ice cream.
“The food was amazing and our tour guide was a bit of a celebrity. Mimic was very passionate and prideful about his country and the food. He introduced us to a few spots that had phenomenal dishes. I don't want to give too much away but there were various lamb and fish dishes that were so fresh and delicious. He was also able to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. Also after the tour he is kind enough to email you the spots we visited and his personal recommendations. When you are on a tour with Mimir ask him about his great grand dad and acting.
